How Time Flies...

Mallory is 3 months old! It is hard to believe it has been that long since she came home. She is doing so well and growing like a weed! We don't have another check-up until 4 months, but we're estimating that she's 13 lbs now. She has started sleeping through the night, although not 100%. But, hey, it's close! Either way, we feel like we are all getting plenty of sleep. Her schedule has really started to come together during the day, too, as far as naps and feedings are concerned. She's smiling on command and has even started her own giggle. Too precious!

I returned to work a couple of weeks ago, and that transition has been very smooth. I am still working at Kennestone, just two days a week. My parents are watching the kids this summer, and in the fall, they will return to Jill's house (Tyler's babysitter since he was a baby). They will just go to her every Wednesday, and then every other Tuesday they will be home with Tim or at my parents' house. It is a great scenario if you ask me! We are very blessed to have Jill in our lives!

Tyler continues to be such a big helper with Mallory and loves to make her laugh. She is definitely calmed by his voice. It is too sweet!

An Afternoon with the Girls

Mallory and I spent a fabulous afternoon with some of my old co-workers and great friends (aka: the Fab 5) Jennifer Snow, Wynne Bolton, and Nikki and Olivia Broyard. Jen was gracious to host at her new house. It was fun introducing them to Mallory for the first time, catching up, and playing with Olivia. Olivia even got to hold Mallory! We, of course, missed our Colleen - the 5th Fab Fiver.

I am not the only Dad that got a day with their kid's. Here is Jerry, aka Papa, with Blythe, Tyler, and Mallory.

Vacation Bible School

Okay, so we're behind on a few postings......let's play catch-up!

The week of June 9-13, Tyler attended Vacation Bible School at my parents' church in Canton, St. Clement's Episcopal. Aside from a few tears during the drop-off the first couple of days, it was a great week for him. He kept asking us, "Is Jesus going to be there?" It was interesting trying to explain that to a 3 year old.

The theme of the week was "Power Lab - Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power". Here is a picture of our little scientist as he was checking in the first day.
Can't you tell how excited he is to be there?

A Room Fit for a Queen

We put the finishing touches on Mallory's room this past weekend. It turned out beautifully! We were able to re-use all of Tyler's nursery furniture, as well as his bedding. Once she was born, we just added some pink accessories to complete the look. Here are a few pictures of her room...

OUCH!!!

Today was Mallory's two month check-up and first vaccinations. She was a big girl and did wonderfully. Mom was a little nervous, though! It is always tough seeing your child go through that, even with the second one. Tyler was a sport, as well, and was very concerned about her "boo-boos". She weighed in a 12 lbs, 5 oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for both! She continues to be as healthy as can be and we'll go back for her next check-up at 4 months. Here is Mallory with her boo-boos...

Those shots won't bring her down!
