MALLORY - 5 MONTHS OLD

Another month passes by so fast! We started her on rice cereal the other day and she seems to like it. We are trying to master the spoon before we start veggies and fruit next month. Here she is trying it out for the first time!

MALLORY'S 4-MONTH CHECK-UP

Okay, finally, we are caught up on blog postings!!! WHEW! We were without internet at home for over a week. Now we are up and running and getting caught up on emails, blog entries, picture downloading, and anything related to Lily Pad!

The family is doing great and we are counting down the days until Hilton Head! (16 days to be exact...) Tyler starts preschool in a little over a week and couldn't be more excited!

We took Mallory to her (late) 4 month check up today and she is a growing girl! 15 lbs 11oz. and 26.5 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for both weight and height. Her pediatrician gave us the green light to start rice cereal at any time and get ready for solids as soon as she has mastered the spoon! And, we can start introducing the sippy cup between now and six months. Teeth could be right around the corner, and she rolled over (from back to belly) for the first time last night! TOO MANY FIRSTS IN A ROW FOR MOMMY! My baby girl is growing up WAY too fast!

We are truly enjoying every minute of it.

We'd also like to welcome to the world a new baby girl!

Susan and Chad Larkin, as well as proud big sister Ava, have added a new addition to their family!

Mallory and I will be visiting the Larkin Family in October for Tessa's Baptism.

I can't wait to meet my goddaughter!

TYLER'S BIRD HOUSE

Just as we think Tyler couldn't possibly have one more similar personality trait to mine, he goes and surprises us again! What a crafty little fella! Just like his mommy...

DAMAGE FROM STORM

Back on Saturday, August 2nd, we had a nice little thunderstorm which knocked down a tree (a quite large pine, might I add...) in our backyard. Tim was home with Tyler when it hit, and I was at Jen's bridal shower with Mallory. It was a pretty nasty little storm with a nice bolt of lightning that hit a neighbor's yard and knocked out our internet, as well as causing some other headaches in our cul-de-sac. Thank goodness this tree went the opposite way of the house!
